While enrolled at Vanderbilt University, Katherine Chloé Cahoon spent summers studying in Europe for her international major. Each fall, when she returned to school, her girlfriends wanted to know about the European men she had met. Katherine made the dean’s list every year and graduated in the top 10% of her class in 2008. When she left Vanderbilt, her girlfriends asked her to write this guide for them. She put the same degree of excellence into it as she did in her school work. It was published in October of 2010, and within two weeks shot up to #1 in solo travel.

To complement her book, Katherine created short, humorous, informative videos with an entertaining travel host persona. They went viral at the same time the book took off and Katherine was crowned “The Viral Video Queen.” Her signature video, “Why Single Girls Want to Meet European Men” was named one of the best viral videos of 2010, and her first video of 2011 was honored for “spicing up” the new year. In addition, Katherine’s book has received a slew of five-star reviews – the highest rating – from badged reviewers.
